StoryPuff creates everything on your device and collects nothing.
StoryPuff has no servers of its own. Stories, illustrations, and narration are generated on your iPhone or iPad using Apple Intelligence.
No account, no sign-up, no login.
No analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs.
We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data — yours or your child's.
What StoryPuff uses, and where it stays
Everything you enter stays on your device.
Story details (your child's first name, age, the world, lesson, hero, language, and any idea you type): used only on your device to create and save stories. They are never uploaded.
Saved stories and illustrations: kept locally so you can re-read them. They are never uploaded.
Optional cover photo: if you add a photo to shape a story's cover, it is used only on your device to generate that single illustration. The photo is not uploaded, not shared, and not stored in the app's saved data — only the generated illustration is kept, on your device.
Personal Voice (optional): if you enable narration in your own voice, StoryPuff uses Apple's on-device Personal Voice feature. StoryPuff never accesses or copies your voice recordings; it only asks the system to speak using the voice you set up in iOS.
On-device generation
Story text, illustrations, and narration are produced on your device by Apple's built-in technologies (Apple Intelligence / Foundation Models, Image Playground, and speech synthesis). Your inputs are processed locally and are governed by Apple's own privacy protections for those features. StoryPuff does not send your content to any StoryPuff server, because there isn't one.
Purchases
StoryPuff Pro is an optional subscription handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. StoryPuff never sees your payment details. Your subscription status is checked on-device through Apple's StoreKit. You can manage or cancel any time in your Apple Account settings.
Children's privacy
StoryPuff is a tool for parents and guardians. It does not collect any personal information from children, and no information — including a child's name or photo — ever leaves the device. Because nothing is collected or transmitted, StoryPuff has no child data to store, use, or disclose.
Data sharing
None. StoryPuff does not share data with anyone, because it does not collect or transmit data in the first place.
Your control
Because your data lives only on your device:
Deleting a story removes it from your device.
Deleting the app removes all StoryPuff data.
The optional photo and Personal Voice features are off unless you choose them.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date.
